Swaps Silver Slippers

The one time first place winner in the line class for yearlings at the Royal Winter Fair. Growing so bold that he learned to intimidate his owners and was sold to a horse dealer who attempted to turn him into a show jumper because he always tended to jump big.

Eventually the training was abandoned because of soundness issues. He developed a baby bow tendon as a result of the intense training. Eventually he was cut and sold as a Hunter prospect but retained the attitude problem: not really dangerous but exhibiting an attitude that could be described as lying somewhere between being testing and obnoxious.

Big Bad Swaps, a cut to-late, gelding 17 hh TB, was always a handful to ride; here he does his stuff at a Hunter Show.
